Welcome

I am a Birmingham based photographer and specialise in environmental portraiture,editorial commissions,conservation landscape and documentary photography.

I trained at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design and graduated with a HND in Photography and an Advanced Diploma in Media Production (Photography).

I am also a qualified Art Therapist and was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Art Therapy in 2001 from The University of The West of Enland Bristol.My research being focused upon the use of the photographic image as a therapeutic tool.

I have exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery London and The Mall Gallery London. Camera Works London,Scottish National Portrait Gallery Edinburgh,(John Kobal Portrait Awards) Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Birmingham Central Library (See P1 Phil Lea Commissioned Collection 'People Like Us' 12 Large Format Portraits and 30 Reportage photographs) and The Midlands Arts Centre have also hosted my work. I have also exhibited in Dublin and Bosnia and commissioned for the Herefordshire Photography Festival.

Recent commissions have focused on conservation and Public Relations commissions for Whitehouse Mainwaring Advertising,clients include Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Severn Trent Water BW and OFWAT.My photographs have been published in The Independent, Birmingham Post, Magazines, Books and Annual Reports.
